The gist
frame— the view's rectangle in the superview's coordinate system: where the view sits in its parent and how much space it takes.bounds— the view's rectangle in its own coordinate system:originis almost always(0, 0),sizeis the area in which subviews are drawn.center— the center offramein superview coordinates.
frame, bounds and center are wrappers around the backing layer's properties (layer.frame, layer.bounds, layer.position).
