Size affects install conversion, update download time and space on the user's device. There's the download size (the compressed package from the App Store) and the install size (how much it takes on disk). Thanks to App Thinning, users get a package variant for their device: only the needed architectures and resources at the right scale. So look at the size for specific devices, not the weight of the .ipa from the archive.
