Risks of AI automation and how to roll it out gradually
Essence
AI automation doesn't only speed up the good stuff. An agent writes code faster, but it just as quickly produces subtle bugs, duplication and token bills, and a pipeline with write access becomes a new attack surface. The risks fall into six groups: quality, architecture drift, cost, security, licenses and data, and accountability. Each has technical and process countermeasures, and almost all of them come down to one thing: checks and permissions matter more than the model.
