Testing accessibility: Accessibility Inspector and audits in UI tests
Manual checks
- VoiceOver on a device — walk through the main flows: is everything spoken, is the order logical, are the actions reachable, does focus get stuck behind a modal.
- Voice Control — can every button be pressed by voice ("Tap Add to favorites"): this checks both labels and
accessibilityInputLabels. - Large text — the largest Accessibility size: nothing is clipped, everything scrolls.
- Switch Control and keyboard (Full Keyboard Access) — everything is reachable without touch.
