Which AI is best for implementing a design, and how do you get decent SwiftUI?
Essence
As of October 2026, the flagship models from Anthropic (Claude Opus and Sonnet), OpenAI (GPT and Codex), and Google (Gemini) all write SwiftUI from a screenshot confidently, and the benchmark gap between them is small and shifts with every release. The quality of implementing a design depends less on the model than on two things: what context it received (tokens, components, project rules) and whether it can verify the result (build the project and see the preview). Choose a tool with a good verification loop first, and the model inside it based on your own experience with your screens.
